GAGLIANO AND HIS POLITICAL HACKS MUST TESTIFY UNDER OATH.
OTTAWA - New Democrat MP Pat Martin is demanding that the political operatives accused of shovelling money to Liberal advertising firm Groupaction appear before the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee.
“Canadians need to hear directly from those who stand accused of old fashioned patronage politics if the truth is going to be determined,” said Martin. Martin’s witness list begins with former Minister of Public Works, Alfonso Gagliano and includes his senior political staff.
The Liberal majority on the Public Accounts Committee have failed to state whether they will support Martin’s demand that the former Minister and his political staff appear before the Public Accounts Committee.
“This is a test of Liberal integrity,” said Martin.
