It is about time someone came up with the answer to why our grandparents lived longer than we do when we are eating (so-called) healthy foods.

Trans fats need to be banned. Can't anyone tell that what were eating is bad as we are all getting fat. I have been trying to reduced trans fats as much as possible, even though I still crave some fast food from time to time, but since doing so I have lost 41 pounds. I will keep this up as long as I eat less trans fats. WE HAVE TO BAN them or at the very least getting them reduced in products. Lets be the leader for the world. |

I absolutely agree, trans fats are a dangerous component of so many foods. The main reason for their inclusion into these foods is for longer shelf life, ergo higher profits for food manufacturers. I have been educating my patients and my children about the dangers of consuming transfats for years. It is wonderful to hear that Mr. Martin is prepared to present this to the house of commons!! |
