This is such an important issue that needs to be addressed. Many Canadians are lulled into a false sense of security (as I once was) because they think food is safe simply because it's made available in the supermarkets. Large companies are often more concerned about making a profit and don't take our health into consideration. |

I think it is high time that the Government starts charging a "Sick Care" tax to these companies that produce chronic unhealth in the populace. A heart disease tax on the trans fats producers, a diabetes tax on the pop companies etc!!! |
