Thank you for trying to help us. As consumers we seem to have no rights. We are told to "just stop eating" the foods with transfats, but they are EVERYWHERE! Foods I remember as a child taste foul and greasy now since transfats have replaced pure oils. They are killing us and we can't do anything about it! How can we stop them from poisoning our children? |

I think it's about time that Health Canada and the Canadian Government did SOMETHING to help protect the lives of Canadians. If banning substances such as trans-fats saves even a single life, it is worth the effort of writing the bill in the first place. Kudos to Pat Martin for taking the leadership role on this very important health issue!! |
